European Public Administration and Informatization: A Comparative Research Project into Policies, Systems, Infrastructures and Proj1

This work is the result of an international comparative research project on informatization in European public administration, which was conducted in nine European countries. The following four themes are addressed: information and informatization policies of mainly central governments; success and failure of large scale information systems; informational infrastructure and the use of IT; the policy sector of water pollution and water quality; informatization and administrative modernization.
