The International Court of Justice: Facts and Documents about the History and Work of the Court

In this book, the history and work of the International Court of Justice is commemorated. Its past and future roles are examined from various angles, which have been defined as "roles" played by the Court. The book illustrates the Court's role as a mechanism for the settlement of disputes, as well as its supervisory role, or, in other words, its possible role as the 'Supreme Court' in international law.
