Moving Experience: Complexities of Acculturation

The research in this titillating study explores the development of cultural identities among global itinerants and people with multicultural backgrounds through a new methodology—Personal Emotional Account of Cultural Experience (PEACE). Through examining the interactions and inner dialogues of multicultural individuals, the results reveal how globalization and a variety of social variables affect migrants developmentally and emotionally and force them to live their lives in the unclaimed territory between cultural contexts.
