Reflective Lifeworld Research

Using phenomenological philosophy as a foundation, this work explicates interpretative methodologies and reflects a lifeworld research approach. Human intentionality and its capacity for seeing meaning and for reflection are emphasized. Epistemological ideas are transformed into a guiding principle for empirical research, one that allows phenomena to guide the research by which the phenomena and its meanings will be illuminated, understood and explicated. Principles for data gathering and interpretive data analysis are outlined.
