International Food Standards: Codex Alimentarius 2007

The Codex Alimentarius (food code) is the single, most important global reference point for consumers, food producers and processors, national food control agencies and the international food trade. This CD-ROM contains over 400 international standards, guidelines and codes of practice, recognized as benchmarks by the World trade Organization, on food labelling and food hygiene; commodities; and food safety assessment for food derived from biotechnology, adopted by the Commission up to 2007, together with a fully searchable record of the joint FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius Commission meeting reports for the past five years.
