Two Essays on Socio-Economic Aspects of Soil Degradation

How farmers make decisions about the management of soil resources and the constraints they face are issues that are still not well understood. At the same time, understanding the farmers' decision-making process is a critical requirement for improving policy-making for sustainable development. This volume contains two papers that analyse the relationship between poverty and soil degradation. Abstracs in Arabic, French and Spanish are included.
