Report of the FAO/RECOFI Regional Workshop to Combat Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing: Muscat, Oman, 30 March-2 April 2009

The objective of the Workshop was to develop national capacity and promote regional coordination so that countries would be better placed to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing activities, including through the development and implementation of relevant international fisheries instruments, taking appropriate measure at regional level and elaborating national plans of action to combat IUU fishing.
