Regional Framework for Health Promotion 2002-2005 is a work in progress to guide Member States and strategic partners in health promotion on how to achieve healthier lifestyles and supportive environments for health. The publication includes an overview of health promotion in the Western Pacific Region, approaches to health promotion, insights and lessons learned, strategic analysis and a framework for action. Regional areas for action include health promotion leadership and mentoring, development and dissemination of models of health promotion effectiveness, communication campaigns for health promotion, integration with health systems development and health systems reform and integration and support to other technical areas.
