Improving Data Quality: A Guide for Developing Countries

This publication provides a set of guidelines to enable health care workers, information staff and administrators to focus on improving the timeliness, accuracy and reliability of health care data. The guide describes the activities and tasks that should be considered when addressing the question of data quality in health care. It is addressed at health staff who share responsibility for the documentation, development, implementation and management of health information services.
