Health Financing Strategy for the Asia Pacific Region (2010-2015)

The health financing strategy for the Asia Pacific Region (2010-2015) will help governments analyze their health financing situations and identify specific actions to achieve universal coverage. It was developed as a result of regional health financing reviews and consultations and is based on a growing body of global research and evidence. It adds three new areas intended to improve aid effectiveness, more efficiently use resources and improve provider payment methods. All contribute to attaining universal coverage of quality health services.
