Tsunami Recovery in India: 3 Years On

The report, published 3 years after the devastating tsunami struck on 26 December 2004, endeavors to record key achievements and lessons learned during the recovery and reconstruction efforts that the Asian Development Bank supported in areas affected by this tragedy. Affected states included the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Pondicherry, as well as the coastal districts of the States of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, covering approximately 2,260 kilometers of coastal area.
