Conviction of Absoluteness

26 is independence of mind and spirit. Just to be. Well settled, in a career and with just in time friends. I live my convictions and not anyone else's dreams. Kehte hain kuch pane ke liye kuch khona padta hai. Arre bina khoye bhi sab kuch mil sakta hai.Ya life lessons do surprise sometimes with a punch in the face or a subtle trip of fate. But I discover life somewhere in between the troughs with a new found avocation, a new dress, an exotic new cocktail, or a new destination to discover till I hit the peek again. No it's not what you are thinking. I have grown up, but with my own experiences. And that's when I realised that black isn't always dark, and that even white can have spots sometimes.

Haan Haan har kissi ko mukkamal jahan nahi milta. But I don't believe in either or.
I believe in all or nothing! Because I have conviction - the conviction of absoluteness!

For those in their late twenties and early thirties, the transition from youth to adulthood, from the conformity of school to the freedom of college and work can often be a big dilemma. 'To do or not to do' is a constant struggle; what is right and who is wrong is always the question on our minds. This is a story of transition. The story of how a girl brought up in a typical middle-class family in Delhi and rooted in conservative judgemental values, judges people in stereotypical silos. As a result, she often forms completely polarised opinions of people she meets. The narrative is set in the advertising industry in the late 1990's and early 2000. By virtue of her so-called values, she perceives the world as Black or White, with room for nothing in between. As the story progresses, however, the absolutes begin to overlap as the characters in her life flit about and hover in zones that are neither black nor white - but several indistinguishable tones of grey, as people often do in the real world.
