The Lazy Days of Temptation

In the life of Tytti Vertainen - a woman duly proud of her libertarian Finland - there are plenty of dull moments. Eager for action, she is stifled in her job writing about the everyday affairs for the local newspaper. Occasionally this has meant the mention of a dangerous intruder who, in fact, turned out to be a squirrel, but she has a dream and is determined to become a 'proper' journalist.

The opportunity arrives when Tytti receives a tip-off letter telling her a murder has been committed on the island. Her first question is whose - no body has been discovered. If she can keep her head down, avoid her meddling boss and not rock the proverbial boat, she might just have received a humongous break. Undaunted by the lack of clues, she sets out to find the perpetrator and solve the mystery. But will her endeavours be enough, or will she unwittingly become tangled up in events - maybe even putting her own life in jeopardy?

The Lazy Days of Temptation is a novel set among the shallow seas and lofty pines of Finland. Detective work soon supplants the frequent cups of coffee as Tytti, jolted from her everyday routine, sets out to find a murderer.
