To neolithiko Diro: Spilaio Alepotrypa

This book, richly illustrated with photographs and illustrations, presents 186 objects found during excavations at the Alepotrypa Cave at Diros. Includes background material relating to the Neolithic in Greece, as well as details of daily life as illustrated through the artefacts found at Diros: tools, weapons, weaving utensils, storage jars, eating and drinking vessels, undecorated and painted pottery. The book concludes with a discussion of funerary practices and rituals surrounding the chthonic deity, as evidenced by the finds at Diros.
