Balun-Canan

The title of this work means "seven stars", the Mayan name for what is today Comitan, Chiapas. The town, and its colonial heritage, is a witness to deep racial differences, which the author takes, literally, to weave rural scenes in which a profound sense of humanity beats in every story.
