Covenant of God

I am trying to imagine the feeling you get when you are desperately in need of something that you lack and indeed you possess that which you lack yet you do not know you have it. I don't know whether to call it frustration or anger, but I sure know it's not a good feeling. Well that is the case when a good number of those who are children of God by adoption through the shed blood of Jesus Christ live in lack when they are destined to live in abundance.

To this category of people, all good things have been made available for them, yet they either do not know it or they do not know how to reach and own it and enjoy the goodness of God for their lives; so they grumble like unbelievers. God knowing this says "My people perish for lack of knowledge."

There are several portions of the Bible where God made covenants with mankind and sealed them with oats that are binding to Him to keep forever. These covenants cover the provisions of all that mankind would need to live an abundant life on the face of the earth; it covers the assurance of good health and wealth. Yet the people of God still live in lack and we still find the poor among God's people. If God is not man that He should lie, and He was not obliged or compelled to make a covenant, but rather made covenants with us of His own loving kindness, then there is the need to search ourselves and know why God's covenant is yet to be fulfilled in our lives.

For God to make a promise, it's because He has what it takes to fulfill and meet-up with that which He has promised. God does not make promises He does not intend to keep. So in order enjoy the promises of God and live in abundance then it's important to have knowledge of what His promises to us His children are and how to tap into it. In this regard, The Covenant of God is a must have book for everyone.

It's time to seek knowledge and live.
