Struggling for Development

This book presents Janis Berzins' articles published in The Baltic Times between 2010 and 2012. The main themes are economic development, the current economic crisis, the European Union, and Latvia. The articles are critic but pragmatic, making the reader to remember that politicians very often transform economic policy into ideology, forgetting that economics and politics should serve the society and not some abstract demiurge called Financial Market.
