These are photographic portraits concerning every facet of the Armenian community in the ancient geography of Istanbul and Anatolia, from the Ahtamar Church in Van to the only Armenian village, Vakiflikoy in Hatay, from Kars to Kayseri. The book contains two forewords: "Getting to Know an Armenian" by Tanil Bora and "From the 19th Century to Today in the Language of Photographs" by Arsen Yarman. There is also a Postscript by Hakan Cobanoglu.
