Ideas and Ideologies: In Scandinavian Literature since the First World War

Proceedings of the 10th Study Conference of the International Association for Scandinavian Studies' (IASS) on Scandinavian Literature, held in Reykjavík July 22-27, 1974. The focus of the conference was on the history of ideologies, moving from general overviews of the literary situation in each of the five Nordic countries, through discussion of specific movements and ideologies to analyses of ideas and ideologies in the works of individual authors. This volume includes all 17 of the papers that were presented on that occasion, in their original languages (English, French, German, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian).
