Nordic Historical National Accounts: Proceedings of Workshop VI, Reykjavik 19-20 September 2003

The articles gathered in this volume were originally delivered as lectures at a two-day workshop on Nordic historical national accounting, jointly held by the Institute of History and the Economic Institute at the University of Iceland in Reykjavik in 2003. Nordic Historical National Accounts contains 13 articles on both the broader questions of the historical national accounting approach and case studies on economic growth and its components, in addition to methodological issues. The articles are written by the following 15 economic historians and economists: Jan-Pieter Smits, Niels Kaergard, Ola Grytten, Peter Vikstrom, Jari Kauppilla, Elisabeth Bjorsvik, Johanna and Seppo Varjonen, Carl-Axel Nilsson, Magnus Lindmark, Sveinn Agnarsson Gudmundur Jonsson, Ragnar Arnason, Jukka Jalava and Pirkko Aulin-Ahmavaara.
